Lifestyle Metabolic is committed to transparency in our billing practices and financial arrangements.
This page outlines our approach to consultation fees, Medicare rebates, deposits, packages, and online subscriptions. Individual practitioner fees are listed on each clinician’s profile page.
Private Billing
Lifestyle Metabolic is a private billing practice. All consultations are privately billed.
We are not a bulk billing practice. In limited circumstances, an individual clinician may choose to bulk bill at their discretion; however, this should not be assumed, including for DVA patients.
Consultation fees vary depending on the clinician, appointment type, and appointment duration. Individual fee schedules are available on each practitioner’s page and during online booking.
Full payment is required on the day of your appointment.
Medicare Rebates
Medicare rebates may be available for eligible patients.
Eligibility depends on your individual circumstances and Medicare requirements. If you are unsure whether you are eligible, please contact our reception team prior to your appointment.
Where applicable, Medicare rebates are processed after your consultation has occurred and full payment has been made.
Medicare does not permit claims for services that have not yet been provided. If you pre-pay for a consultation or purchase a package, rebates cannot be claimed until the relevant consultation has taken place.
Medicare rebates do not cover the full cost of private services and out-of-pocket expenses will apply.
Private Health Insurance
Some services may be eligible for private health insurance rebates depending on your insurer and level of cover.
We recommend confirming eligibility directly with your health fund prior to your appointment. Rebates are processed after your consultation.
Deposits & Payments
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
If you attend your appointment, the deposit is credited toward your consultation fee. The remaining balance is payable on the day of your appointment.
Cancellations & Non-Attendance
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations or changes made with less than the required notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit or a cancellation fee.
Failure to attend an appointment, or arriving more than 10 minutes late without prior notice, may result in a Did Not Attend (DNA) fee.
Fees may be waived at the clinic’s discretion in exceptional or compassionate circumstances, such as sudden illness or emergencies.
Packages
Lifestyle Metabolic offers structured care packages designed to support coordinated and goal-focused treatment.
By purchasing a package, you agree to the following terms:
• Packages must be used within 3 months of purchase unless otherwise stated.
• Packages are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Lifestyle Metabolic.
• Packages are not transferable to another person unless approved by the clinic.
• Where eligible, Medicare rebates may apply to individual consultations within a package. Rebates can only be processed after each consultation has occurred.
• Medicare does not permit rebates for services not yet delivered.
• If appointments within a package are cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or not attended, the standard cancellation or DNA policy applies.

Cooking Classes & Group Education
Pricing for cooking classes and group education programs are listed on the relevant program page.
Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
Bookings for cooking classes and group programs are generally non-refundable. Refunds or transfers may be considered only in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Lifestyle Metabolic.
If Lifestyle Metabolic cancels or reschedules a program, participants will be offered a transfer or refund.
Menopause Clinic Terms & Conditions
The Lifestyle Metabolic Menopause Clinic is delivered as a structured multidisciplinary session held once per month.
A $60 non-refundable administration fee is required at the time of booking to secure your place in the clinic. Purchase here.
The total cost of the Menopause Clinic typically ranges from $465–$760, depending on individual clinical requirements. Consultation fees are payable on the day of attendance.
Medicare and private health rebates may apply to individual components of care depending on eligibility. Rebates are not guaranteed and can only be processed after each consultation has occurred.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend, the $60 administration fee remains non-refundable. Standard cancellation policies apply to individual consultation components where relevant.

Online Membership & Subscription Access
Lifestyle Metabolic offers optional online membership plans providing access to member-only educational content and digital resources.
Current membership options:
• $5 per month — renews automatically each month unless cancelled prior to renewal.
• $30 for 6 months — provides six months of access and does not automatically renew. A new purchase is required to continue access after expiry.
Membership plans provide access to digital content only and do not include clinical consultations or medical services.
Membership fees are non-refundable once processed, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Lifestyle Metabolic.
